Overview

SPRING is an engineering company specializing in residential and industrial water purification systems, including technical installation and after-sales service. The brand also offers a comprehensive range of pool filtration systems and pool chemicals. In response to increasing market competition and the need to refresh its brand perception and strengthen its corporate identity, SPRING partnered with Lidenbrock to redefine its brand renewal and positioning strategy.

The objective of this collaboration is to transform SPRING’s engineering expertise, technical precision, and reliable service approach into a modern, cohesive, and memorable brand identity, while rebuilding the strategic foundations required to establish a strong, professional, and sustainable market presence.

Before partnering with Lidenbrock, Spring carried an outdated and fragmented brand identity—one that no longer reflected the company’s technical expertise, product diversity, or the scale of its audience. Despite serving a wide spectrum of users, from households to industrial facilities, the brand failed to communicate a clear positioning or a cohesive value proposition.

In order to speak to a broader and more diverse audience, Spring needed a renewed identity—one that could project clarity, modernity, and trust, while remaining true to its engineering-driven foundation.

To build this transformation, we turned to the most fundamental sources of life itself: nature, water, and oxygen. The leaf and the water droplet became our guiding symbols—representing purity, continuity, and the essential elements that sustain both life and the environment. These natural forms shaped the strategic and visual direction of the new Spring identity, grounding the brand in a universal story that every user instinctively understands:

A key insight in Spring’s brand transformation was recognizing that its audience could not be defined by a single segment. The brand serves a broad, multi-layered user base — from households to industrial facilities, commercial operations to pool systems.This meant that our strategic positioning needed to extend beyond a traditional “target audience” approach. Our first step was to reassess who Spring truly serves, and why these users choose the brand in the first place.Technical precision, reliable service, and the essential connection between water and life became the foundational pillars of Spring’s renewed positioning.

The new Spring logo—formed through horizontal, flowing lines—captures the essence of purified water, engineered precision, and the natural continuity that connects every user Spring serves. At its center, the subtle circular form symbolizes oxygen, the vital counterpart to water, completing the cycle of life and grounding the brand in the fundamentals of nature.

This visual identity was shaped directly by our strategic analysis. Understanding Spring’s broad and diverse audience—residential users seeking purity, commercial clients prioritizing reliability, and industrial operators requiring precision—allowed us to design a system that could speak to all segments without losing coherence.

From this insight, we refined Spring’s value proposition as an engineering-led, life-enhancing water solutions provider. The brand was repositioned to communicate trust, modernity, and technical expertise across every touchpoint. Its visual language was rebuilt to express purity, flow, and continuity—qualities universally understood by all users within the ecosystem.

Messaging, too, was reconstructed around core expectations shared across audiences: safety, sustainability, reliability, and long-term confidence in the solutions they choose.
